‘Boris in China’
This is the title of a nine-minute feature shot for BBC Newsnight, recording the visit of Boris Johnson MP, then Conservative Shadow Minister for Higher Education, to Chinese universities. Boris Johnson (later Mayor of London) was the cialis usa reporter. CMC produced the feature.

David Willetts MP in China
CMC organised the first China visit of the Minister now responsible for UK universities and science. David Willetts is a leading English social thinker as well as politician. In a two-week tour, the CMC team introduced him to thinkers such as Lin Yifu (now Chief Economist of the World Bank), Shi Yinhong and Pan Wei. He lectured at the Central Party School.

CMC arranged BBC Newsnight presenter Jeremy Paxman’s first visit to China, where he debated publicly The Future of Public Media with Bai Yansong, his equivalent as a leading television analyst of public affairs. China’s New Model Army
The BBC has been trying to gain access to the Chinese military for many years. CMC was able to facilitate this such that the first foreign television report was shot at PLA University of Science and Technology in Nanking in 2013, with the cooperation of the UK Ministry of Defence. CMC’s Chang Yiru was the producer, Steve Hewlett the reporter and the half hour documentary, shot by Daniel Bogado, was transmitted in April 2014 on BBC World and by BBC Newsnight in the UK.
