Abstract
Professor Zhan Jiang will examine the situation of China’s watchdog journalism since 2001 by illustrating seven stages and cialis sin receta holanda three forms of ‘watchdog journalism’ (also known as ‘supervision by public opinion’). In this seminar Professor Zhan will take questions from the audience and shares his views on media issues.  Â

Professor Zhan Jiang is a very well-known media reformer and is frequently quoted in the Western media. He is now Professor of journalism in the Department of International Journalism and Communication, Beijing Foreign Studies University, and the former Dean of the School of acheter du cialis a lille Journalism and Communication, China Youth University for Political Sciences. He was a reporter and weekend edition editor of the Yangzhou Daily News from 1976 to 1985 and has written more than 50 papers on journalism and several books, including Theories of War-time Journalism, Journalism and Courage, and Watchdog Journalism and Global Democracy. Presently, his areas of research include the U.S. media industry and wartime journalism.
